About the DPRM


Proclamation No. 247 issued in September 2002 declared the month of September as Development Policy Research Month. The proclamation highlights the critical role of policy research in the socioeconomic advancement of the Philippines


It also underscores the "need for promoting, enhancing, installing, and drawing awareness and appreciation of the importance and necessity of policy research" in development planning and policymaking.
